Gum: When you’re on vacation, you don’t always know where you’ll be. Carry some gum with you as an easy way to rinse your mouth and freshen your breath. Your Houston dentist recommends gum that uses xylitol instead of sugar, though.
Travel-sized Mouthwash and Toothpaste: Any drugstore or grocery store should have a section for travel-sized items. Mouthwash and toothpaste will always be there and are made to follow TSA regulations, so you can take them on the plane with you.

Paraffin Wax: This is handy for emergencies. You can chip a tooth anywhere in the world, and paraffin wax will cover the jagged edge so that it never cuts your mouth.
The Essentials: You shouldn’t forget these, but it’s of course necessary to pack your toothbrush and some floss. Those are the biggest tools in your fight for oral health.
